Christine is a licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) and Master Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor (MLADC) who has worked with children, adults, and families who have experienced emotional, behavioral, and social challenges since 2004. She has experience working in many settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and residential.
Christine earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of New Hampshire in 2009. Christine earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a concentration in child and adolescent development from Southern NH University in 2005. Christine specializes in anxiety, stress management, behavior management, parenting, self esteem, and trauma, while having experience and competency in many other areas. Christine is a strengths-based therapist who has a friendly, direct, and humorous approach. Christine utilizes and is trained in several evidenced-based practices, such as: Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Enhanced Illness Management and Recovery (E-IMR), Trauma Focused-CBT (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing (member of MINT), and Multisystemic Therapy (MST).
Additionally, Christine offers consultation, training, and supervision services for other mental health professionals. Areas of expertise regarding consultation include evidence-based Motivational Interviewing (member of MINT), Individual Placement & Support Supported Employment (IPS SE), Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Enhanced Illness Management& Recovery (E-IMR), and Integrated Treatment for Co-Occurring Disorders (ITCOD).
